(i). The reclamation to be carried out in accordance with plan

'D' enclosed.

(ii). All filling-in and other works falling within the area

coloured green on the said plan to be executed at the

sole cost of the Government. Upon completion of the enti-

-re scheme of reclamation shown on the said plan, the

area coloured green to be reserved as an open space for

the use of the public.

(iii). The cost of all works entailed in carrying out that

portion of the scheme, falling outside the boundaries of the area coloured green, to be defrayed from the general fund hereinafter specified (vide clause (ix) ).

The works to include all drains, severs, water mains,

kerbing, channelling, &c., that may be required to render the areas coloured red on the s id plan available for the erection of dwelling houses or other buildings. All raising of existing roadways, alterations of exist- -ing drains, sewers and other works, &c., required in connection with the scheme to be similarly included in

the cost of the work.

The Government to decide from what sources the materials required in carrying out the scheme are to be obtained. A detailed plan, based upon the said plan, to be prepared showing the subdivision of the areas coloured red and marked "Building Lots" between the owners of such portions of the existing Marine Lots abutting on Praya East as actually abut on that thoroughfare, (who are referred to below as "Marine Lot Owners"), the sub- -division to be based upon the actual length of boundary

along Praya East of the respective Marine Lot portions above referred to, and the land when reclaimed to be allotted according to such subdivision. A statement showing the estimated amount of contribution payable
